Intended use and durability

Undamaged original vehicle paint. Repainted or damaged paint is installer-risk. The technical sheet also discusses selected HEXIS wrap films, but warns removal can damage them; this does not establish warranty eligibility over a wrap.

HEXIS estimates up to ten years for vertical use in Central Europe under normal road conditions. Horizontal exposure, or south-facing exposure in the northern hemisphere, is estimated to halve life. Heat and pollution can shorten it. This estimate is separate from defect coverage.

This is a summary of selected terms. The warranty supplied for your film and location governs any claim.

Caring for this film

• The linked BODYFENCE guide says not to clean the film during the first 48 hours after installation. Avoid solvents and corrosive detergents.
• For pressure washing, that guide specifies medium pressure, a distance of at least 50 cm and water no hotter than 35 °C.
• The reviewed warranty requires BODYRELOAD and BODYFINISH at least every four months. Confirm current satin-compatible products and instructions with the installer.

The warranty separately excludes lifting occurring within fourteen days after installation when caused by detergent cleaning. This is an exclusion, not a universal wash date or a promise that washing after 48 hours preserves coverage. The guide permits conventional car washes but warns about brushes and additives; the warranty excludes scratches and damage after car-wash cleaning. The newer guide recommends the BODYFINISH kit but does not explain the older warranty’s BODYRELOAD requirement; obtain a compatible care schedule before washing.
