Corrections

Details still to confirm.

Some product details are still unclear, and some instructions disagree. These gaps also appear beside the relevant film information.

Current source gaps

  • SunTek Reaction

The current North American installed thickness is unconfirmed. Detailed warranty terms come from a May 2025 manufacturer-authored USA/Canada copy hosted by distributor SAGR Products; a current manufacturer-hosted version has not been confirmed.

  • 3M Pro Series 200 Gloss

The manufacturer-hosted US/Canada warranty card has been checked. It does not itemize removal, replacement and reinstallation labor coverage or state a registration deadline. Applicability in other territories remains unconfirmed. The official technical sheet is dated March 2024, revision B; its status as the latest revision has not been independently established.

  • XPEL warranties

The reviewed default-English warranty does not establish which terms govern every country. Obtain the warranty supplied for your installation location.

  • Avery Supreme Defense Matte

The warranty term is reduced by two years in New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Southern California and Hawaii. The reviewed footnote does not define the boundary of Southern California.

  • Avery care instructions

The reviewed documents contain conflicting general advice about solvents, pressure washing and wax. Obtain current instructions for the exact Gloss or Matte film. The January 2025 brochure specifically says to avoid wax on Matte.

What a correction needs

To check a correction, we need the page and statement in question, plus the original manufacturer document. The link, date or revision, and country or market help us check that it covers the same film.

Can I send a correction?

Use the private corrections form on this page. Include the page, statement and original source, with its date or revision and country or market. Submitting a correction does not subscribe you to the newsletter or promise a personal reply.

Checking for newer information

Use the check date beside each source to see when it was reviewed, and the document date or revision to identify the version. Source changes are not monitored automatically. Ask the manufacturer or installer for the current instructions for your film and location.

How abuse controls use network information

To limit abuse, the hosting service processes your network address. This form stores a salted hash for rate limiting, not your raw IP address. Expired abuse-control records are removed in small batches during later valid submissions; they may remain longer if the form receives no traffic. The hosting provider may separately retain operational logs.
