CovrGard’s SEMA program puts bulk-fit PPF, marine film and cutting software together
GLOS, AQUA and GRAFX give installers three different workflows to question at the North Hall stand.
Topics: PPF · SEMA 2026 · Installation · Software
CovrGard plans hands-on film demonstrations and a GRAFX pattern-software presentation at SEMA 2026. Its North Hall program includes GLOS automotive PPF and AQUA marine protection film, which the company identifies as additions for 2026.
GLOS is intended for bulk fitting and higher-volume installation work. The manufacturer describes it as an additional option alongside GLOS+, with an emphasis on conformability and application efficiency. It is already available; the November 3–6 show appearance is not evidence of a new show-day commercial launch.
AQUA shifts the conversation to gel coat and painted vessel surfaces. CovrGard’s product page describes a 250-micron, approximately 10 mil film for marine applications, including hull sections and high-contact areas. It also says warranty duration varies by region. Shops should obtain written guidance for the intended substrate, exposure and application area before treating a marine label as approval for every vessel or submerged surface.
For marine work, ask separately about preparation, cleaning, repairs and removal. Film construction alone cannot settle compatibility with a particular painted or gel-coated surface, and an automotive warranty should not be assumed to cover a marine installation.
The reviewed announcement also mentions window-film, windshield-protection and panoramic-roof products, but gives no timed demonstration schedule or measured installation-time saving. The organizer’s current directory lists CovrGard at booth 12651 in North Hall, resolving inconsistent booth references in the company announcement. Recheck the directory before travel.
