Avery introduces dry-apply color PPF with PrismaPro
The June 2026 launch paired a ten-color TPU range with installation training focused on dry application and temperature control.
Avery Dennison launched PrismaPro Color Paint Protection Film on June 16, 2026, introducing an 8.5-mil TPU film with ten colors and a pressure-activated IntelliTack adhesive designed for dry application. Its North American announcement lists 60-inch by 75-foot rolls.
The launch also outlined hands-on classes starting in July in St. Louis, Missouri; Corona, California; and the Atlanta area. The curriculum included techniques and temperature controls specific to dry-apply TPU, giving wrap installers a route to learn the new material.
Avery says the film’s topcoat can heal light scratches with ambient heat and advertises an up-to-ten-year vertical warranty. The announcement does not set out complete coverage for horizontal panels or provide independent comparative impact tests.
For shops considering the film, application training and the current regional warranty deserve the same attention as the color selection. Reviewing the product sheet and application bulletin, then trying a sample panel, can help assess handling and finish before quoting a full vehicle.
