A new way to follow PPF competition careers
Pro Film Rankings brings paint-protection-film results into a dedicated table. The event record still matters more than the headline position.
Paint protection film competitions put a specialized craft in front of an audience. Pro Film Rankings offers another way to follow that part of the industry, with a PPF ranking separate from its tint and wrap tables.
There is a useful distinction here for vehicle owners. A competition record is about a person's performance under a particular contest's conditions. It does not tell you which film is best for your car, what a local installation quote includes or how a shop will handle a warranty issue.
PFR counts both team and individual PPF results, crediting each team member with the team’s points. Check event histories before treating positions as equivalent solo achievements.
For enthusiasts, that history is the attraction. It offers a reason to follow repeat entrants, discover a competition and understand the people working in the trade. For competitors, it can preserve a result after an event's social posts have moved down the feed.
Use the ranking to explore, then return to the organizer's rules and results for the specific contest. If you are choosing an installer, also look at finished work on similar vehicles, the proposed coverage and the shop's written service terms. Competition recognition can enrich that picture without replacing it.
